September 2018 – Club stalwart Elwyn Roddick was presented with honorary membership for his services to Bull Bay Golf Club. Keeping Elwyn in good company were two golfing legends Ronan Rafferty and Roger Chapman, who were also presented with honorary memberships. Thanking the Club Captain, Ronan said that after his Volvo masters win in 1989 he was given honorary memberships by 183 golf clubs in Ireland, but this was his first honorary membership in Wales!
