| Founded in 1913 and the only course in Wales created by Herbert Fowler , his design at Bull Bay was influenced by his most famous work at Walton Heath. Using the natural features of the land he built a course that climbs and falls, twists and turns, through valleys and on plateau, between rocky outcrops and areas of gorse - a spectacular riot of scented flowers when in full bloom. | | With its modern clubhouse and superb facilities, visitors are guaranteed a warm welcome and excellent value for money. Due to the nature of the land and the favourable weather enjoyed by the area, the course which is always maintained to the highest standard, is playable throughout the year, offering a memorable round of golf for players of all abilities. The club motto is “Her Deg ar Hen Dir” meaning an honest challenge on ancient land, and with a blend of traditional and modern, lush fairways and superb greens, visitors to Bull Bay are assured of an experience to remember. | | Now, within easy reach of England, Ireland and the rest of Wales - with excellent road and ferry connections - why not visit a “genuine hidden gem of a course well worth seeking out as much for its setting as its challenge” Golf Monthly April 1999.
